Yes, I offer a free 15-minute online consultation before you decide whether you’d like to book a full session. It’s a chance for us to briefly talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and to get a sense of whether we might be a good fit.
I usually offer these consultations via WhatsApp video call, as I find it can feel more personal and gives us the opportunity to meet face-to-face before taking the next step.

Each therapy session lasts 50 minutes.

Yes, I offer both online and face-to-face therapy. During our initial consultation, we can talk about what feels most comfortable and suitable for you, and agree together on the best way for us to work.
-
Therapy sessions are held weekly. As our work progresses, we can review things together and, if it feels appropriate, discuss the frequency of sessions later on.
-
Therapy sessions are £60 and payment is made by bank transfer at least 48 hours before your appointment.

You can bring anything that feels important to you. You don’t need to have a diagnosis, a specific problem, or even know exactly where to begin.
People come to therapy for many different reasons, including relationship difficulties, anxiety, low mood, stress, self-esteem, identity, grief, life changes, past experiences, or simply a feeling that something isn’t quite right.
We can start with whatever feels most present for you and explore things together at your own pace.
-
If you need to cancel or rearrange a session, I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice.
Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged at the full session fee. This cancellation policy will also be clearly set out in our therapy agreement before we begin working together.

Yes. What you share in therapy is treated as confidential, and your privacy is taken seriously. There are, however, some important limits to confidentiality. If I believe there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, or if I am required by law to share information, I may need to disclose relevant information to an appropriate person or service.
Where possible, I would discuss this with you before sharing any information.
-
Your privacy is important to me. Your personal information is stored securely and handled in line with UK GDPR and data protection requirements. I only collect information that is necessary for your therapy and will always treat it with care and confidentiality.

Finding the right therapist is important, and it’s completely okay if you feel that I’m not the right fit for you.
If this comes up, I’d encourage you to talk to me about it so we can think together about what isn’t feeling right. Sometimes this can be useful to explore within the therapy itself, but if you decide you would prefer to work with someone else, I will respect that.
-
I want you to feel comfortable raising any concerns about your therapy or our work together. If something doesn’t feel right, I encourage you to talk to me about it so we can try to resolve it together.
If you are not satisfied with how your concern has been handled, you can follow the BACP complaints procedure. Further information about this process can be found on the BACP website.
